Case Cotton Sampler
Case Cotton Sampler
Anyone care to guess the final "value" of this beauty.
Nothing right about it. Wrong bone, terrible stamps.
Not the only bad knife he's selling.

If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Re: Case Cotton Sampler
Thanks for posting that, I was going to post it.
Seems like there are lots of fake cotton samplers out there in various brands.

It's the same seller as the first knife. I wonder if the first $610 buyer realized it was fake and returned it?WNY wrote:Just a personal opinion, but I can’t say that I find this way much better….

Yes, sir; and this too was my presumption as it certainly appears to be the same knife.btrwtr wrote:

For what it’s worth, I too want to thank you for starting this thread as it allowed me to confirm my initial impression.

Oh brother, that's the worst job I've ever seen and I don't even know much!

Re: Case Cotton Sampler
Looks like someone took a blade from a Bulldog CS then ground the tang down and restamped with these lousy Case markings. Then put it into this handle and frame.

Hell, a blind squirrel would know that thing was as fake as a plastic acorn!

here is a nice Cotton Sampler pocket knife. it is marked W.R.Case & Sons but it was NOT made by Case. knife is a reproduction / knock off. that being said it is a nice knife with excellent half and full stops, strong snap, no wobble and 4" closed. has one small spot on back of blade.* again this is NOT a knife made by Case.* we use paypal.
