? 6228 or 6235 1/2 case open easy
Hi all, I have a question re/ ebay # 160718658973, sorry no pictures
my kids are not here. Does this knife look right? Never seen an easy
open with a spay blade. Have dealt with the seller before with less than
a good product received. Hence my question, Is this knife real? Am
a 10 dot collector, and this is before my time, I don't know but looking
at 6228 and 6235 1/2 they all have pen blades.
Again sorry about the no picts, hope someone can post them.
Thanks in advance, and I will soon learn about the pictures!

They made a "Tested" 6235EO with greenbone handles , but not with a spay secondary blade . Note the center pin -- this knife has definitely been apart . Run away from this one unless you can pick it up for $40 +/- . (It would be worth that for parts)

Total rework. That is a ROBESON frame with other blades installed. NOT A CASE KNIFE AT ALL.

Has the infamous red background seller got himself a 2nd Ebay account? Or is it just coincidence?

he also has this gem for sale, the bail is an addition and the blades have some unprofessional grinding on the tangs

Here's the disclaimer from the seller, with a lil bold highlighting the kicker line :knifeaholic wrote:Total rework. That is a ROBESON frame with other blades installed. NOT A CASE KNIFE AT ALL.
I specialize in repair, restoration, and customization of quality knives. I’m also a collector, buying, trading, and selling knives. Most knives offered have been professionally cleaned, oiled, and “tuned up” in my shop, by me. In some cases minor repairs have been performed such as regrinding chipped blades, minor scratch removal, and etc. If any major repairs have been performed, such as blade replacement, handle scale replacement, or etc., it will be stated in the auction description. My mission is to rescue quality knives.
Hey Steve, I think total rework falls under the "tuned up" category for him.
