A Custom GEC EO Dogleg Linerlock

Post by muskrat man »

This is the second knife like that that I have done for our friend Trevor, the first was a factory handled sambar stag, this one was bone and I rehandled it in elk with a narrow bar shield, as with the last one I modified the master blade into a linerlock, added thumb ridges on the spine of the master blade, cut an easy open pull and incorporated a lanyard tube. I think it turned out as nice as the first one if not better.

Kaleb, it's not hard to see why you're on the top tier of knife mechanics and customizers in this country! You always seem to set the bar just a little higher with each knife you post. This one is no exception! Beautiful job! ::tu::

P.S. congrats to Trevor!! ::nod::

Thanks men for all the comments. Yep this whole project was Trevor's idea, all the mods were ones he thought up, I just made the thoughts reality.

reddirt, no idea how many hours. I worked on it off and on for a couple days during other projects. If I had to guess probably in the neighborhood of 3hrs if I had worked on it continuously.
