Duck River swords

I am looking for info on the Duck River Swords that were found along the duck river in Tennessee. If anyone knows where I can find a book about the swords I would love to know? I know that they are in the McClung museum in Knoxville.

Judging by the tang stamp it should be around a 1983 model. I've seen them sell for around $100

old stag jack knife ?

I just traded for an old case xx jack knife . Circle C tested tang stamp, 3 3/4' long, 2 blade with long pull on main blade, second blade looks to be pen blade, handles look like my 5254. Did they make a stag 52031?

What years did Case XX produce a 6265 folding hunter with a marlin spike? I am trying to trade for one and the owner didn't know if the sheath came originally with the knife. The sheath has a side ouch for the spike>

Re: CASES SPORTSMAN HUNTER IDENTIFICATION

Jim Sargent's 6th edition shows the exact same knife and sheath. He lists it as an unknown pattern possibly a 1361-5? Walnut handles and the single word CASE stamped on the aluminum guard. Value $125

there are several other knives with this stamping.

Hey Guys I went to school way back in the 80's in a small Mississippi school and all the guys had pocketknives . The big thing then was Frost and Parker Cut stag. We would trade knives at recess. CASE has always been super in the repair department. The last one i sent back was a stag handled stockman with a broken backspring. It came back better than new!!!!!
