Thank's again Blue ::tu:: The wife would perfer Ocean water, I dont mind what it is as long as there are fish biting! Re: Georgia
Blue,
Funny you mentioned Charleston, that is another option for us and I would actually prefer Charleston SC over anywhere in GA.
Also, I heard that St. Patrick's day in Savannah is compaired to Mardi Gras in New Orleans...?
Thanks for the info Ricky

Yes Sir, That is a very nice knife in very good condition.
I have one (not red stag) but not in nearly as nice of shape, and I think I paid close to $100 about 15 years ago.
Also, as I think both BOB's already said, it sure looks like Red Stag to me. Very nice find!
Keek us informed,
Marty

[quote="Iron Hoarder"]It would be nice if they just made decent pocket knives with their own mark on them and sold them.
I agree And, if the blades were true old school Case Tested Carbon Steel, I'd
buy them all day long.

From what I have read, it sounds like the scales could be 6.5, just my opinion.

The locking mec. seems to be made within the bolster, and the pattern has like a swell center/copperlock look. You have a very cool and interesting knife. ::tu:: Here is a pic of one that looks (to me) very much like a K Bar with the Dogs Head shield. Check your PM's and BTW, Welcome to AAPK!! ::han...
