Hey jarhead, I think the answer you’re looking for is Little Jimmy Dickens, aka “tater”. I looked it up on Google Maps and it's out in the middle of nowhere between "Ain't Never Been There" and "Don't Go There". "Don't Wanna Go There" is just a little piece down t...

There is also the Buck 112 if the Buck 110 fills up your hands too much. The Buck 112 is just a tad smaller than the Buck 110. Both are excellent knives to start out with.

Re: ??'s on a 6231 1/2
From what I can see Cutty, my eyes ain't what they used to be, it looks like an original Case XX delrin 6231 1/2 with a slight double struck tang stamp. I could be wrong cause I have been before. ::shrug:: Everyone of those I've ever seen have gator snap on their blades. I'd put some nice bone on th...

What Dean said ::nod:: Nice Case Classic 6355 Whittler you have there Tab. ::tu:: I had been wanting one of those 355 Case Classic Whittlers for the longest time. Seems like I wanted one the most right when I was in a bind moneywise. So I go to the closest flea market to me one day, and low and beho...

Happy belated Brithday Chet. The 5th of Nov. was also my B-day too. I still have to call you Sir as I'm a tad younger than you, Sir. Hope you had a great day and have many, many more Birthdays to come.

Buck Vantage Pro
Has anyone else got one of the Buck Vantage Pro knives? I bought one with the Bos heat treated s30v stainless steel blade after EDC'ing a Kershaw for a little while. Buck has built a nugget of gold when they built this Vantage Pro. The knife I bought came hair shaving sharp out of the box. I've been...

QS, I've got a John Primble Congress pattern just like the one you have pictured. Wish I had a way of posting a pict. of it. Mine has the stepped bolsters, same shield and also delrin handles. Really strong snap on the blades too. I like them like that.

I have a 2 bladed Tidioute blue bone lockback like the one third from the left in your picture. GEC called it Blue River Bone or something like that. Is yours a single bladed knife? My wife bought the one I have for me, it's a nice knife. Those are all nice knives you have there HiPower.

I think a lot of folks call those knives Bird & Fish knives or Pheasant and Trout knives. They are nice looking knives you have there, pretty stag on them. I have no clue as to their value though but you could check Ebay's completed auctions and see what the average price is that they have sold ...

Well it's 3:00 AM and I'm up drinking my first Coke of the day. Darn legs are killing me. Almost never fell asleep then when it seemed like I'd been asleep for 20 minutes the legs started hurting so bad I had to get up. I guess I deserve it. Re: Camillus with gut hook
That Camillus tang stamp on your knife looks like the tang stamp Camillus was using last when they closed their doors. Does it have U.S.A. stamped under the word Camillus? If it does, it's American made by the old Camillus that we all loved.

That trapper pattern knife looks like a Queen made knife (well the blades do anyway) with the old factory sold off Utica bone handles that Blue Grass Cutlery has put on the Winchester repro knives before.

You're right Bill, and the really sad part is that they are, for the most part, good people. But they're democrats, past, present and future. Slim & Tim, 3 3/8 is the length size the seller said the knife I pictured was. I had the knife on my watch list and was going to bid on it but I had to go help my son and by the time I'd got back it had ended. It sold for around $29.00 I think. I would have paid more for it than that. I've seen ...
