Re: NEED HELP WITH WINCHESTER QUESTIONS
AFAIK, BlueGrass has/had a license to use the Winchester name. I don't think they made the knives themselves. Queen made just about all of their premium knives. I don't know if they are still manufacturing them. The Queen made knives are very well constructed, as they should be. Many were made with ...

I think the auctions are done through the chat system on Thursday nights.just bob wrote:I would have never found this w/o the direct link. Thank You. You can go to the top to buy/sell and then knife auctions and there is nothing there. Only a suggestion but you should make this easier to find.

Re: The new Queen Ranger
Just got the word back from Queen.
Blade is 2.5 inches. Overall length is 6.125.
Can't wait to see how it feels in hand.

The new Queen Ranger
I really like the new Ranger knife from Queen with the damascus blade. The queen website doesn't provide any information as to the size. Anybody know anything about that?
Thanks

Re: Selling Auto Knives
knifebroker.com and gunbroker.com both list automatic knives. Plus, signing up with knifebroker gives you a chance to win a custom knife. I haven't bought anything from gunbroker yet but my 1 experience with knifebroker went very smooth.
No idea about listing and auction fees.

Re: Protective Tissue?
Unless you want the printed stuff, I just order a small pkg of Acid-Free tissue paper online for around 10 bucks when I need some (20 sheets to a package). The ones I get come is 30 X 40 inch sheets and I just cut them to size.
I think Container Store has it but it can likely be found cheaper.

Hi shade63
To enter the knife giveaways, you need to go to the month's giveaway topic in the forum. On the listing you will find a link that says "Click here to choose a number". That will allow you to enter the drawing.
Good luck.

Re: Spilled coffee on my laptop!
There is a good chance you can use a mouse or keyboard on your laptop. Many laptops have connectors for the old fashioned PD-2 type of plugs. And of course pretty much all of them have USB ports. If you have a USB mouse and keyboard you can give it a shot. But you may be forced to log onto the lapto...

Re: ebay question
I would say YES, open the dispute thru PayPal (assuming that is how you paid). Unless the rules have changed, you must enter a dispute within 30 days of the auction. Since it took over half of that time just to receive it, then you only have about 2 weeks to dispute it. You can still hope for the be...

If you want the regular Case black suede ones there are always some on the Shepherd Hills Cutlery site and bet they can be found on others. Personally, I prefer the sackups (silicone treated cotton).

Re: Case Stag Saddlehorn, numbered, need help on value
Goober got it. Tony Bose, knife designer and builder, worked closely with Case in reviving the saddlehorn pattern a while back. They added the T.B. to the tang stamp to honor it. Don't get it confused with the very high end Tony Bose/Case collaboration knives that cost a few hundred each. I don't re...

Re: Winchester Knife set - Kentuckian and Tennessean
I can only add what I have been told on the matter. I have been told that the Winchester knives with the script type of tangstamps were German made and unauthorized. I have just a couple such knives and the quality is good. At one time, they were fairly inexpensive but even these supposedly unauthor...

Casn't answer your question as to why they did it. But they did it.
They made at least a couple patters in Germany and they DO look exactly like Boker's.
Here is one I picked up a while back

Only thing I can add here is that Smokey Mountain has some on their website. I don't know they are exclusive or they bought the trademark or what. So there are current ones with those stamps available.
