Re: ISO Junebug

Seems like a lot of folks have came and gone since I started posting here, Josh being one of them. As I remember, back in the day called the chat room rowdies, when we had the chat room here. Yes I do remember him talking about health issues with his wife. I had an email address for them but I looke...

My holy grail, reckon the only two I have left, would be a Schrade Walden 891 stock pattern with the typesetter pick and a Remington gunstock pattern

Joe,. Sad but true what you say about someone getting a deal on it and turn around and flip it. Seems not many knife collectors around anymore, mostly knife sellers.

Re: For Sale: GEC Stag #56 Dog Leg Jack Knife

Beautiful knife. Probably many others like me can't justify spending $425 on a knife that originally sold for around $100

Re: Secondary Market Prices

Let me start by saying I love great eastern cutlery. One of the last companies making high quality knives here in the good old USA. They make a high quality product, and have great authorized dealers who sell them at fair prices. Props to all the authorized GEC dealers. The problem comes in with all ...

Did the r rated forum and political discussion foum go away?

Hey fellas,
Been away for a while, and haven't visited for a while. I'm not seeing the r rated forum. Quite a few laughs there. Was wondering what happened. Is it still around or did I overlook it?

Re: Estwing hatchet leather handle question

Thanks a bunch for your input. Sounds like a lot of work just for looks. Think I'll just stick to it the way it is. Works just fine without the stag butt.

Estwing hatchet leather handle question

I have a Behring made with a scagel type handle. I'd love to have a hatchet to somewhat match it. Behring hatchets look to set you back about $700, so I thought of the estwing. Has anyone ever done any leather handle work on them, enough to tell me if you could modify it to have a stag butt about ha...

37 here. Woohoo, I raised us up to 8%. Been hooked on knives as long as I can remember. I grew up hunting and fishing with my dad and Grandpa, so at a young age my dad bought me a uncle Henry badger, and a little metal handled case lock back( can't remember the pattern number). Ever since then reall...

Re: Expensive Tactical Knives/China

I have seen trend with the high dollar Chinese tactical, seems they are using titanium scales and most claim to be using Crucilble steels like 154cm, cpm154, 3v, and so on. This would mean they are importing steel into China from the US, producing the knives and importing the finished knives back in...
