Re: The All Scout Knives Thread
Thanks for posting the Scout Hero article. My uncle, Charlie Cann, was a scout and saved a kid by pulling him off some electrical lines in my hometown in Ohio. The BSA held a big parade for him and gave him a large certificate commemorating the action. I have a picture on my phone somewhere of the c...

Re: Private message on hold
Thanks knifemonger! I would love to see it. Is it on the AAPK store?
Thanks!
Steve
P.S. I guess the problem with the message I couldn't open just went away. FYI, I did fully remove my previous message by hitting go at the end.
Thanks!

Yes, I guess I did at first, but I deleted page after page until none were left. The message on hold came from Knifemonger (i believe). Maybe I'll just try to contact him directly.

Hi all, Been a long while since I was on AAPK. Life has taken me in many directions, including dealing with Covid. Thankfully my family has been well. I hope your families are too! I wanted to ask you about a knife I've been bidding on in a private auction I was invited to. It's a Robeson USMC. I re...

Re: Looking for a Case Boy Scout Knife
Just purchased one of the mini trapper's from Cosgrove Cutlery - thanks to Mountain Man Knives for the link!
I ended up buying the "Scouts Honor" knife, but hope to purchase the entire series eventually.
I'll post some pictures when I get the scout knife......

Re: Looking for a Case Boy Scout Knife
Hey guys, I wanted to partially revive this old thread. I've been trying to get my hands on these scout mini trappers for the past 10 years, on and off. For awhile, you could still see these on several knife retail web sites - not for sale, but just for archival purposes. The one that really interes...

Hi Tim! Good to see a fellow scoutmaster on the site..
I bought one of these for myself and would like to keep it of course. I have seen these on ebay you just have to keep looking until one shows up.
Good luck!

TripleF - That's a beauty! Good to hear I have a AAPK mate across the pond!
Tank - That trail bowie is just where my head is right now. I've looked at a lot of BRKs but don't remember seeing that one. I was looking at the Trail Buddy III.

Re: Your Thoughts on the Best Camp Knife available
Ontario, Condor and Topps knives are all on my maybe list.... I also looked at the Fallkniven line of outdoor knives but they appear more like kitchen knives (no offense to Fallkniven fans!). I know they have a big following but I can't get past how shallow the blade is. Condor does make a hudson ba...
