None from Benchmade, yet. Hopefully soon. I've been trying to find one of the Parker Gypsies. The Frost one I have with the brass handle is nice.

Thanks. Is this one an older or newer knife? Also, what is the book you use for reference?

just won these two knives for $4.25 and $2.00 shipping. One is a Filipino knife the other is made in the USA but has no brand stamped. Ever since I've been a little kid I've wanted at least one Filipino knife (other than the Balisongs I have). Hopefully I got lucky on this one, it not at least I didn...

Damascus Question
Does Damascus "fade" or lighten if not taken care of? You can't tell from this pic but this knife was really dirty and after I cleaned it a very faint pattern resembling Damascus could be seen.

anyone familiar with this? It says "Christians Solingen" with a fork above it on the tang.Opens with a friction lever and locks in place with the ring that slides up and down the handle. I've never seen one of these before. I guess some of the corn knives I've seen were similar but not exa...

Can anyone tell me anything about this Colonial knife? Sorry, it's the only pic I have. Spotted it as it was ending on auction, noticed nobody had bid on it and decided "why not?". Hope I made a good decision.

Re: Hen and Rooster
The Hen and Rooster came yesterday and it was actually better than I was hoping for. It has assisted opening and a button lock. I have long fingers so the slim handle will take some getting used to. It is light, sharp, and has excellent penetration.

I just won this 1982 Parker American Blade AB-29 Buffalo horn game skinner with a 2.5" blade, in near mint condition including its original sheath, for $28. Too much to pay or worth it?

In general are Hen and Rooster knives good knives? I won one earlier today pretty cheap, so I was kinda wondering if they are just cheap knives? Thanks.

I'm a big fan of Parker knives. When I started collecting recently I started with knives made by Cold Steel, CRKT, Benchmade, and Boker. To be honest I'd never heard of Case but once I bought my first one, a Russlock, I was very impressed. I decided I would go with older knives as the main body of my...
