Another one from me..

Made from a Nicholson file it,s 7 3/4 lenght 3/16thick and 15/16 wide with some gorgeous Honduran Rosewood scales and black liners.The width of the blade combined with the high grind made this one a TERRIFIC slicer ! Here,s one i did for a build off

The handle and sheath is some SWEET Cocobola. The blade is 1/8th 1095. I originally started this blade as a razor for myself but when the build off came along i decided to enter it.This blade is SHARP !! The sharp edge is 2in. and the blade is 3/4" at the widest point, the knife is 4 11/16 o/a....

Thanks Viking ! I like the way they look with the teeth left on as well and it makes for a nice NO SLIP grip when choking up on the blades.

I didn,t anneal them. What i did was bring the temper down from the original using the info in the last paragraph of this link.

I forgot to say that All my knives are made from Nicholson files that have been tempered to approx 58rc.Everyone who owns one LOVES them.
I like to put premium handle materials on the file knives. I think it gives a nice look paired with the ruggedness of the file blade,s.
