New knife won't sharpen??

Howdy folks. Long time, no see. I have a new knife that I want to carry, because it was a gift from a good friend. It is a Moore Maker trapper, with pretty white bone scales. The problem is the edge. It is as dull as a putty knife and no matter what I do I can't seem to get an edge on it at all. Now...

Just got a Harry's Truman razor. Five well made German steel blades n each cartridge. Badger brush and ogallala bay rum shave soap in a mug. Great shave ::tu::

She is awesome! Very Bonnie Raitt-ish but in a good, non-imitating sort of way. If that makes any sense.

Jethro all of these songs and artists you are sharing are fantastic. Much better than the junk I hear on the radio these days.
