Re: Why Has GEC Knives Fallen Off the Cliff?
I think that it is true that the cost has always been high, for a great knife. But as collectors, we all know that the most coveted knives will be the 2007, 2008 & 2009's. This was not really part of the poll, so I think the poll is flawed. I do think there was a post about increasing run sizes ...

I was thinking almost exactly the same thoughts as Gino on this one. 1900 - 1930.
Very nice one UNC!

Re: Question for anyone who can help???
I would guess somewhere around $ 30 bucks maybe on a good day for that one in that condition.
I would say hold on to it, there is a hardware store nitch in knife collecting and Sears-Craftsman was one of the biggest!
(Not nessasarily the most collectable hardware store knives though.)

Re: Question for anyone who can help???
I might be able to help on this one, but I am a few days removed from my knives and books. I am not worried, my Dobermans are well fed and very territorial. I think I have a two blade version of your knife......and I was thinking maybe 1960's - 1980's. I believe I have mine in my Camillus section......

I own all three years of the Texas Ranger knives from AG. I really don't know what to say to the China-phobes out there but I do remember a time that if it had "Made in Japan" written on it it had to be junk as well. I recently bought a new US made Remington...Rough Riders are better qual...
