What type of knives are these?

I cannot for the life of me remember what kind of knives these are with this type of blade. I have owned and researched before but getting old I guess and can’t remember. I appreciate any info that can be helpful. 7025...

Re: Vintage CASE XX Trapper - Which one??

I appreciate all the info. I feel better now knowing it’s most likely legit. Not a problem either pointing out imperfections, like I said I was not 100% sure myself which is why I always turn to this forum to get some advise from other collectors with more knowledge than myself. I’ve been doing it a...

Re: Vintage CASE XX Trapper - Which one??

I appreciate the info, the high tang stamp stood out to me as well but I am not convinced yet either way. I will have to dig deeper and hopefully a few more people on AAPK will give me some feedback also. Oh well wouldn’t be the first time if it’s not right. Thanks again!

Vintage CASE XX Trapper - Which one??

Just picked up this ole beauty this week. I am far from an expert but know just enough to spend a pocket full of money when the opportunity presents itself. I always turn to this forum when I need help with a knife. I have always been confused about the old Trappers. Which ones have the “Tested” fra...

Re: VINTAGE WR CASE & SONS ??

I appreciate the info. I figured it was fake or pieced together or something like that. I’ve never seen handles like that either which raised my suspicions immediately but the blades had me wondering. I have had a couple knives in the past that people tell me are cold stamped but I honestly can’t re...

VINTAGE WR CASE & SONS ??

I just picked up this peanut stamped with the early stamp “WR CASE & SONS BRADFORD PA and CASE XX TESTED on the pen blade. Blades look genuine to me but I’ve never seen this type handles. Idk if it’s the original handles or re-handled or what? Blades are tight with strong snap. Any helpful input...

Re: New Case Copperhead

I thought the same thing about a SFO but I just bought it at a local hardware store. They sell a lot of Case knives but not sure if they had it done or not. I will ask them to make sure. I’ve never known them having their own SFO knives.

New Case Copperhead

I just picked up this 2021 natural bone single blade copperhead. I thought it was very unique with the snake head etched on the bolster. I can’t find another one like it on EBay or simple google search. Just wandering if anyone else has seen one like it? 9E82FC74-2F21-4B61-B8CA-37D9783...

SPYDERCO SEKI-CITY ATS-34 info

I am needing some info on this Spyderco knife I picked up a few weeks ago. It’s very well made with what I think are Micarta handles. I have searched everywhere and haven’t been able to find one “exactly” like it. There is no model number or any numbers stamped. It is a lockback and has a fully serr...

Re: Challenge Cutlery "US" stamp?

Its obviously been cleaned and polished but otherwise as far as I know its all good but I am not an expert. Blades are nice and tight, no cracks or anything. Some of the reference books I have looked in show similar patterns and material on other Challenge knives but none of them show both sides of ...

Challenge Cutlery "US" stamp?

I picked up this perty Challenge cutlery knife recently. I found info on the company that started over in England in the late 1800's then came to Connecticut until around 1928 or so. The rear tangs are stamped just simply "US". The only other knives I have seen stamped similar to this are ...

My latest pawn shop find-Blackjack - not a pocket knife but?

I am usually not much into fixed blade knives but I came across this one today at a pawn shop and could not resist. It just feels great in your hand! It is a Blackjack Mini trailguide. Ive never owned one before and like I said rarely purchase a fixed blade knife. I did some research and from what I...

I appreciate the responses. I might throw it on Ebay and see what it brings (never know) so if anyone is interested I will most likely list it within the next couple days under the same username as I use on this site. Thanks again!

Old J.A. Henckels with symbol??

Just picked up what I think is an older J.A. Henckels knife because of the tang stamps. It also has some type of a symbol on the handle that appears to be a two headed bird or a two headed dragon possibly. There is also a single red crown above the two heads and a red shield. The only thing I have b...

Info on vintage green bone "BEAN" swing guard

Re: Kentucky Cutlery Assoc knife show?

I called Jerry early this morning to make sure there was a show and he confirmed. I just got back to WV from the show and it was worth the while (3.5 hrs each way). I "think" it used to be a much larger show but there were plenty of knives to choose from and you can only look at "so m...

Thanks for the information! This was a knife that a gentleman had for sale at a local flea market this past weekend. Question about a Case XX 5275 Moose

I looked at a straight Case (1940-64) Moose with stag handles but I can't find it in any reference books. Did Case make a stag 5275 during this era or is it a fake? If its fake someone did a great job.

Info on a 1974 Case XX Stag 5383 Whittler ??

I just traded for a nice looking 1974 Case XX 5383 stag whittler. I have looked in several price guides and cannot find any information on this pattern being produced in 1974. The handles are exceptionally nice. It has beautiful stag handles, they have kinda like a red stag look. It also has nickel ...
