I just now see someone selling a collection of LE Lemon n Lime knives on E-Bay. It's the full series minus the Peanut.
It is going to be interesting to see what they fetch, since they are selling them individually.

Re: Selling a Collection
Gee, you know that's pretty interesting. (setting up a store) I've close to a hundred knives and am kinda interested in selling them. Don't like EBay and have no relatives that would appreciate having them. I just purchased a nice camera so I can finally take pictures that ought to be better than my...

The only protection one could expect is their own knowledge and healthy skepticism. Sure, Case could go after them but it would do them no benefit. Really. They are in the "new knife business" Counterfeiting has been around since time beginning. AARP is the best help for individuals trying...

Got some pretty nice stamps there!
What I really mean is the dies are good-uns, must have spent some real cash for them.
Guess that means I can look forward to seeing a lot like that now!

That's a nice little serpentine jack and at a nice price. 26 bucks for the whole scaboodle.
I'd discount that ill placed pic. Just a mistake of the seller.
Good personal carrier I'd think.

I like it!
I can see nothing that would turn me away, holding it would be better.
The seller says you can return it if you want so it would cost you $14 (7x2) to look at it in person.
Way over, I mean way, way over anything I could afford.
Sure is pretty!

I like the part where it says "Never Been Cleaned"
Looks to maybe been apart, and the main blade sucks.
Myself, I wouldn't touch it!

Re: FAKKE XX 5254
There is nothing wrong with that knife, your suspicions as to the difference between the pin heads is quite simple. The front handle pins were spun and they ended up in a low groove in the stag, on the back handle they were spun too, but the pins happened to be placed on higher spots on the stag an...

Re: Check this out! Case Tested XX Muskrat
The seller is confused as to condition. Used or unused, cleaned or uncleaned. Unsharpened or maybe no blade loss. Sound to me to be a bunch of equivocating. I think the handle is bone. I don't like the comparison of the two blades. They look different from each other. The "muskrat" stamp l...

Alqaida's forging new inroads!
The proportion of the bolsters to the scales is not (as) "easy to the eye" as with all the Case toothpicks I ever look at. I have the same feeling with the blade. Doesn't have that pleasing flow. Holding it in my hand I think would confirm the suspicions. Makes me think Pakistan when I loo...

The knife is way out of my range but I would say it looks like the genuine article. The scales and bolsters look untouched. A nice old knife.

Re: should this knife have a shield ?
I don't like the look of the stamping on the back side of the main blade. It seems very poorly located and the spacing of the numbers doesn't look to me, to be up to, the normal case quality stamping.

Case Trapper commemorative knives are generally selling for from $50 to $125. The numismatic value of the coins play a part in the value of the whole set but usually are not that much, as a rule.

Does "Case" ever screw up?
If you read the description the seller has written on the knife you will find where he says: "THE KNIFE ALSO LEFT THE FACTORY WITH OUT A PATTERN NUMBER, ONCE IN A WHILE IT HAPPENS," http://cgi.ebay.com/CASE-XX-1940-64-6375-BIG-STOCKMAN-SUPER-PRETTY-BONE_W0QQitemZ330357214650QQcmdZViewItemQ...

Well, no buyers were willing to buy it at 300 bucks. That really doesn't mean much, but I still am suspicious about it. That is a great knife "Stockman" posted and the one on ebay look a lot like it. A couple more thing I noticed when comparing the two knives was the long pull on the main ...

I think the small spear blade has been replaced. It doesn't look right with the other main blade and it is not fitted well at all.

"Rareness" as a sales promotion or It's a "limited Edition"
I sure would like to know more about all this "limited edition" Case Knife promotion going on now in so much abundance. My first Case "limited edition" 1 of 2500 was to me a rare item or so I thought. I expected it was a specific "Case Knife" produced by Case for Case s...

Yea, every time I get screwed on E-Bay I'm just happy it wasn't for more money. I just chalk it up to experience and go on. What's the use, it won't stop the lying and cheating, all to do is to not buy anymore from those creeps. E-Bay has made it impossible to communicate with other buyers, hides e-...
