Re: Wal-Mart And The Devil!

I'm a little embarassed to say I once worked for Wal-Mart about 10 yrs ago part-time. But, it's not all bad, because that's where I met my wife. Last June, she was let go because she clocked OUT(!!) 10 MINUTES(!!) late after helping a customer put more money in the Wally World till. She had been the...

I carry an M-16 with a 4" blade, an Allan Eleshiwitz(?) Bronze and a 1st production of the Rollock. I love them all. I don't think the steel is inferior, even if it's 420J2. I work with all types of die steel, and I can tell you that I would rather have a 420J2 that won't break if pinched, than...

The new Schrade-Walden brand from Taylor can be found by looking at the handles. Bear is the only company I know of using only one pin in the handle. Check out the new Keen Kutters and you see the same thing.

I would love to see the expressions on the faces of the "Weather Geeks" here in SC if it snowed in May! As for the former Vice-Prepetrator, sorry Vice-President, I guess he can't handle the "Inconvienent Truth" that Congress had to cancel a session to FIX global warming due to a ...

I'm not sure what's going on with Kissing Crane, but the newest ones are being made in CHINA(go figure?!?!). If it is Boker, they are probably going to turn out like the Magnum series.

The AG should not have to answer questions about anything that is Constitutionally legal. Did Janet Reno(DEM) or former Prepetrator-sorry-President William Jefferson Clinton(DEM) have to be called to a special session of Congress to answer for firing 92(yes the total is correct) US attorneys? The &q...

Bare naked blades

I'm in need of some assistance. I am interested in buying a variety of slipjoint blades and building my own knives for friends and family. Does anyone know who may sell pre-made blades? The reason I want pre-made is because my neighborhood is not zoned to allow for any manufacturing. I tried Camillu...

I must admit that I'd forgotten this thread. I came across a trader at a knife show about 2 months ago who said he was told these are made by BOKER. I can't find any mention of that, but I do know you can work them to death and they keep coming back for more.

Military service is the reason I walk with a limp today. In the years since I left the Navy, I have wished for the physical ability to re-enlist. There are too many negative reports about our position in the world, and C(ommunist)N(ews)N(etwork) is all too eager to report it. If our posterity is now...

Jim Frost bought Bertram Cutlery a few years ago and makes all of his blades there (Solingen). Any regular blades (Steel Warrior, Frost Family, etc.) are shipped to China and assembled there. Trade between Germany and China is not as regulated as if it came to the US directly, thus the CHINA stamp o...

I have defended Jim Frost and his company more than anyone on this forum, but I am begining to become disillusioned with the entire discussion of what people will and won't carry. Frost tacticals are made in the same factory as Tomahawk, TimberWolf, Ridge Runner, and all other Chinese-made brands. H...
