Thanks for this. Getting an old Russell has been high on my list of priorities for a while now.

Re: TC Barlow SFO
I should so like to see more of these. Grabbed two when they first showd - a bone clip and an ebony clip/pen.
They see much use time and I'd like to get a couple more. Just about ideal pocket wear.
Nice one Charlie C

Re: Schatt & Morgan & Queen
KInd of Philco, but as JerryD points out not all for some of those brands. (Thanks for that fine list :)) In any case, I get readily confused  For instance, I have this Winchester, which I am fairly sure is a Queen http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x308/nodney1/062.gif But there's also this Mo...

There's also Winchester, Robeson, Moore Maker, some Bulldogs (though they might be GECs) .... others. It's complex and I keep losing track

Getting all antsy about the wormgroove bone Kentucky Shiner now
The stag one is nice, but looking too bulky to me just now
Anyone seen the wormgroove one in person yet?

A sawn bone TC Barlow just arrived
I am soooo impressed. I really didn't think it was going to be this good a knife .. and for peanuts really
Even happier when it dawned on me that TC also stands fro Tidioute Cutlery ... great weight off my mind that was. Pretty happy today

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
They are quite specialized things, it's true Jerry. I have couple of others (Roosters) but this Northwoods one is a nice user. The spring is a little bit soft on it, just a little bit.jerryd6818 wrote:give it a squeeze.
I occasionally look at the GEC one, but it is a big old bruiser compared to the Northwoods

I really wish I have been paying more attention to the trapper jacks when they appeared. That nice, broader clip point and the pen blade is the perfect combination. And that stag!

Frankly, I wish they'd just go to RWL 34 or VG-10 and have done with it
If GEC went down that route, I'd probably double up on this little bunch

GEC TK Cuban question
Hi I just took a pic of my GECs and realized there's one missing as it were
Does anyone know if the TK Cuban – that's the #53 with the single spring, clip point and pen – will be released in 440C
Thanks for any leads

Thanks Philco
as to the state of the lockback, i am with you and know about it all too well being the proud owner of a stag/1095 and a cobo/d2 version
I did have a go of a s&m file and wire, ats 34 version which had a sound lock. Fingers crossed for these eh?
