Re: A New Favorite! Case 6375 CV

I like those both. I've been carrying a 6318 amber Cv for 2 1/2 years. Getting the hankering for a new pocket knife. Struggling on another Cv maybe chestnut or go the stainless route. Anyway those are both great looking knives ya got there.

Re: Bulldog versus Eye Brand?

I see. So are the black etched ones sturdy enough for use or are the just collector pieces also?

Re: Bulldog versus Eye Brand?

Those are nice. A couple look like celluloid. I'm not a big celluloid person but those are nice. I have seen a few other celluloids I think look nice. I'm a little scared of the celluloid. I read somewhere that they can give off a gas that can ruin your other knives. Do you know if this is true?

Bulldog versus Eye Brand?

I've been carrying an Eye brand mini trapper off and on for a year now. I'm really impressed with the blades. I've read that both Eye Brand and Bull dog are made in the same factory? How does the Bull dog compare to the Eye brand? I've notice that there seems to be more choices in the Bull dog brand...

Thanks. Yes the carbom steel is what has me interested. I seen a stag Eye brand and a stag Hen& Rooster online a Smkw. There was about a $20 differance between the 2. The Hen being higher. I wish an American company would make a stag carbon knife. I know GEC does but , I've heard so many differa...

Thats what this one did. It was one of my favorites. I have had it for about 2 years and never noticed it fading at all. Its been put up for the past 6 months or so. Its ashame because next to my stag knives it was the nicest looking knife I had.

German pocket knives.

I'm getting ready to head down to smkw next week. Was considering coming home with a stag German mini trapper. How do Hen & Rooster, or Eyebrand measure up to a Case or Queen? I notice that smkw has tons of Hen &Rooster online. Are they decent?

Bleeding/ Fading Queens?

Do queen knives normally bleed and fade? I have a premier mini trapper that has been put up in the box for about 6 months. I got it down and it was faded. There was not a whole lot of color on the paper just a light discoloring. It went from being a real pretty orange color to a splotchy orange. Als...

Yes. Mine is a Case Ducks unlimited mini trapper. Even if I do not carry that knife when I put my knife away at the end of the day I have to handle that one. So I went back to carry it again.

::ds:: EricKy, If you want the knife to use, grab a GEC in 1095, you won't be dissapointed and if by some chance you are, they will repair or replace. These are very helpful people who stand behind their product, 100 percent. Bryan has quite a selection at very keen prices. Cheers John. Who is Bria...

Does anyone have a picture of the GEC scout next to something like a Case or Queen Trapper or stockman? The Scout looks like it has a pretty hefty blade on it. I'm just considering one.

Roaddog, I have to agree with you on favorite patterns. I love the minitrapper followed by the 6318 of Case. My two edc that I rotate is a 6207 and a 6318 CV. I just bought one of them Queencity 1095 minitrappers. Havent gotten myself to carry it yet.
