Re: 30.06 150 gr. core lokt trajectory
Thanks treefarmer. I fully intended on using 180gr. I just forgot to ask for them. I got sick when i saw the chunks in the snow. I dont like leaving a deer running around with a hole in him the inbreeders that hunt near where i hunt do it andit infuriates me.

Re: 30.06 150 gr. core lokt trajectory
I sighted the gun in at a hundred yards with 180 gr corelokt. the deer was right around 75 yds from me. There was no cover for him so i didn't hit a branch. i wasn't excited, i had the crosshairs on the upper center of his neck and squeezed the same as i do when I'm poppin cans at a hundred. the exc...

I sighted my 06 in with 180 grain corelokt, so that may have affected my shot. but I'm thinking my incline had more to do with it. please help. ps i got the deer. aimed for the mi...

Re: promar knives
thats the one! And no worries, i was just excited to see so many people replied, and then instantly bummed at the posts about oysters. Its cool though. What exactly is a bait knife? I was thinking of ordering one, but the sites that have them arent that reputable, so i declined.

Re: promar knives
i just wanted to know if anyone had heard of these knives before. I had no clue it was for shucking oysters. It looks exactly like the mora, which led me to believe it was a camp knife. I only sharpened it because the guy asked me too. I dont think he knew it was an oyster knife and i dont believe a...

Re: foreign substance on my mora and my sodbuster
thanks to everyone who had a suggestion. I ultimately got it off with steel wool. My buddy gets redtags for deer and we were cutting one up and he looked at it and told me to try steel wool and hot damn, it worked. I've never seen my mora shine like that. I enjoy the patina, but my buddy put the gun...
