schrade LB-7 with engraved nickel silver bolsters
I found an LB-7 with silver engraved bolsters at a flea market for 90.00 . What can you folks tell me of this knife and what its worth since I passed it up. I dont have any other details about it.

What is your best advice on the care of wood handles on opinel knives. Hardwood vs beechwood etc... Should I soak it in mineral oil or linseed oil ? How about tung oil or sealing it with something ?

Condor knives Rockwell hardness
I have a fidelis neck knife and it is really hard to sharpen even with my diamond. Is it possible for 1075 to be that hard on the rockwell scale? I want several other models but this make me nervous to invest more money in 1075 steel.

Yesterday I bought myself a benchmade griptillian to go with these two. Its a MDP model and 154cm sweet knive !!!

old benchmade knives
I have a model 700 tsunami tanto folder made by benchmade and a folder I believe to be a 800 or 804 benchmade both have the balisong symbol and the later has ats34 marked on the blade. Can anyone eloborate on these two as to their age and worth ?

Camillus is still making marlin spikes. I think they owned by acme co or something like that, Google it and you will see ther prduct line.

I love a lock back and own all sorts. Since the advent of good diamond devices to sharpen my knifes with I prefer the better steel such as 154cm or ats34 also s30v and d2. Even those old buck folders of mine that I never could get sharp as a youngun yield to a diamond sharpener. I am still searching...
