Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Garddogg56,
I have carried this 707 everyday, without fail, since the last time I visited this forum. And some of you may know just how long that is I hope that yours has been as invaluable to you as mine has been to me.
Great to see so many names I recognize. Great to see so many new ones!

UTX for UTX
Hello to all my old friends at AAPK!
Just breezing through.
I have a Microtech UTX that I'd trade for another Microtech UTX.
Just looking for a different model but don't have the scratch to buy a new one.
PM if you think you might be interested.
Perhaps I should post this in Autos?

Re: What do you EDC?
Mike England: I like the looks of that 707. Is replacing the spring after 1 year normal for that kind of knife? QS- Imo, replacing a key operating component of any knife after one year of use shouldn't be considered normal. However!, I do have a serious tendency to repeatedly deploy and close the bl...

Spyderco paramilitary 2. Got it for Xmas this year and have carried it every day so far. Benchmade 707. Got it for Xmas last year and carried it everyday so far, except for when I sent it in to have a spring replaced. Both are exceptional knives in all areas. The 707 has endeared itself as one of th...

Hey guys I never tried using a light box before ::hmm:: I for one like to see the light in the picture. It feels more like catching a moment than taking a picture. I like it when you get that sharp glimmer that makes it seem like there's something happening other than just taking a picture. Same wit...

Makes perfect sense to me. I can't count how many times I've used the saw on SAK to cut a hole for an outlet or light switch. Just the right size tool for the job.trey wrote:Apparently this is an SFO and that's how it was ordered. It's supposed to be a drywall saw.

Re: Guns & Gun Related Stuff
Well, I've made my decision. Picked this up on Friday nite and I've been all tingly ever since. It came down to a choice btw this and a Glock17. Pound for pound both guns were great, but the SR9 just felt more refined. The slimmer grip has a much more confident and natural feel to me and the trigger...

Re: Guns & Gun Related Stuff
Thanks, Fran I've actually done a fair share of shooting for a town mouse, but I've never participated in any formal training. I bought my first slide gun early this year, a Ruger LC9. very compact, not suitable capacity for the required training, but I have burned a few hundred rounds in 9mm since ...

Wow! thanks guys! a Lot of awesome suggestions. I have to addmit, my macho side was kinda taking over at first saying "get the .40! bigger is better." but for the purpose of trainig and excersize, I think Quick Steel makes a good point. I want to work on accuracy and efficiency. If and whe...

hOWDY Men. Im in the market for a duty pistol for academy training.(Im not shopping here, just looking for advice.) requirements are 9x19 or .40, prefferably 15 round cap. Re: Owls was over to visit.
We had a little family of screeches in the back yard last year. They were so cool to watch. they would swoop from yard to yard, always below the trees and between the houses.
I go outside in the evenings now and listen for that tell-tale purring coo, but they havent been back yet. I miss em.
