Can anyone tell me what this knife was used for?

Got this knife mainly cause ive never seen one like it and it was cheap ::tu:: I have no idea what i was used for other than to possibly do some sort of hair cutting??? I only say that because of the comb styled blade but it is very sharp kinda like a weird serrated edge. Does anyone know or have id...

I have one exactly like it made by Cattaraugus. Its not in as good of shape but it is the real thing. It also has both blades stamped and its 3-3/4" long, though its not a case the two company's were closely related but the blades seem differently shaped on mine. I had a post on it awhile back ...

Tang stamp ID help...

Can anyone identify this stamp? It looks to me like it says US or maybe RUSO??? Any ideas? I guess its a pic of a rooster so maybe its an early Hen & Rooster stamp? I have no ideas..

I googled Abercrombie and found that Bob Loveless made knives for them and he had ties to gerber. Im sure they contracted other companys but maybe thats a possibility.
