nice shady!!!! ::tu:: those are the current german standard issue knives contracted out to victorinox...... from pic....you are missing the saw blade cover....a thin stamped steel cover that slips over perfectly and still folds into scales nicely!!!!! junebug 8) 8) OOOOO so thats what that thing is...

Yours has Carbon blades, feebay knife has Stainless steel blades.

It may not even get a bid ::shrug::

Well ill keep an eye out for one either way. What do u think the bolo would go for?? Hopefully I can find one at a yard sale where the person doesnt know what they are selling ;)

Awosme, and thanks for the link Charlie. I searched Ebay and I have bad luck searching I guess because I can never find anytihng im looking for!!!

And its starting bid is $70!!! Mine is in just as good as shape as that one, lets see how much it jumps up ::tu::

Upon further inspection of the knife now i see that it was made in japan... I guess I will have to do some searching for the correct knife ::tu:: The sheath still has the clip on it which i guess some people have them missing. Well ive finally got it open by doing what I have done this whole time HAHA... bad part, I cant get it closed again ::dang::

There is that small round thing that lifts up enough to get a finger nail under... im lost!!

This was also one of my dads that i dont know anything about.... the blade has no markings on it. Im wondering if it would be a good idea to keep good care of it or just use it ::tu::
