Kershaw knives does that at their factory in Tualatin Oregon or they stamp XXXX across their stamp but these are sold at the factory once a year as obvious seconds at a very discounted price, this seller of th Ka-Bar claims the factory offered to send him another knife so I'm wondering how that work...

great old knife, love the end of day multi-colored handles like that and I have to concur with Dave O what a great chance to pass on grand dad's knife to your kids.......I've posted pictures of my grandfathers Case Bradford PA early '20's goldstone two blade tear drop knife that is my favorite knife...
