I have one new in box, without blade play, Mt Man green moss bone, with lanyard hole. But I would like to trade for a money order. Maybe this will help your search, if not disregard. I believe it's a file and wire.

Original blades, but yes I reshaped them to keep a flat sharping surface. I also added a thumb pull or easier opening space for your thumb in the liner.

One of my first redos was this knife, a $ 1.00 investment form a garage sale. When I took it apart I laid the pieces in order on a board and photograph them. I should of taken more. These guys are right, lots of pictures sure help. Pics should enlarge.

If it goes through the spring, can you compress the spring at the front with a vise and spring wedge to get more tension, or just file the tang so it sits down? The kick.

Try that screw driver from the other end, of the knife, and see what happens.

Shim the back spring on the end pin, where your left thumb is, (second pic), from the back of the spring, slack and (hammer) down the main blade pin to tighten the blade. Remember I'm no expert, just trial and error, it works. Worn end of tang or spring even worn pin could be the cause.
