Rare Folding Knife
Here we have a wire framed old folding hunter. Made like the game getter gun stock adapter. I have shown this to several knife collectors and we all think it is a Marbles product. The markings have been ground down on the tang, 4 ½ inches closed. It is made very strong, not a weak design, blade locks into positions very tight and and strong.. a skeleton type frame, a very rare knife. One in a million, never seen one; how about you? Information is accepted. Believed to be Marbles 1900s era. |

Stag Antler Patch Knife with Leather Grip
This is an antler handled knife. The owner picked up approximately 20 years ago at a flea market. The knife has a carbon steel blade that is approximately 4 1/2" long by 1 1/4" at the widest point and has a heavy brass guard tapered at each end. |

ANTIQUE AMERICAN KNIFE CO PLYMOUTH WOODEN HAND (Civil War ?)
ANTIQUE CIVIL WAR ERA AMERICAN KNIFE CO PLYMOUTH WOODEN HANDLE POCKET KNIFE. This very old pocket knife was made by the American Knife Company in Plymouth sometime between 1849-1875. The handle is wood, and the knife blade is in really great shape for being over 150+ years old. There is no rust on the blade, and it appears to have been well taken care of. The wooden handle is smooth from years of being carried in someone's pocket. There are some indentations and a small split on the wooden handle, but they look like they are original or have been there a very long time. Either way, they certainly add a lot of character to this wonderful piece of the past. Who knows whether it belonged to some soldier fighting in the Civil War? It is stamped on the blade "AMERICAN KNIFE CO. PLYMOUTH", and measures 6-3/8 inches long opened up, and 3-3/4 inches long closed. |
