Great Eastern Cutlery Tidioute Cuban 3 blade Stockman knife, model 53. Measures 4" closed. There were only 250 of these made, which is etched on the back of clip blade. Chocolate jigged bone handle, with nickel Silver bolsters, and inlay shield. 1095 carbon steel Turkish clip, sheepsfoot, and spey blades. Front bolster is engraved with the number 164. This is a beautiful knife, extremely well made by Great Eastern Cutlery in Titusville PA., USA, in 2007. Comes with a free stainless steel Great Eastern knife opener, blade key. I have been selling knives for about 10 years, have sold several thousand. In my humble opinion, these are some highest quality production knives I have ever seen. This was an old discontinued Western carbon steel pattern was reintroduced in 1996 by Camillus, but with stainless blades and laminated wood handles. It seem to disappear just as quickly and is nowhere to be found by the 1998 catalog.
Comes with a Western Camillus box and Western Camillus papers. Here is a short lived reintroduction of historical pattern by a company (Camillus) who has itself fallen to the ravages of history.
