CLOSED LENGTH : 3 3/4 inches long.
HANDLES : Perfect pearl with no cracks and no chips.
TANG STAMPS : Tangs of the master spear and punch blades are stamped with the Remington Circle stamp. The back side of the tang of the spear is stamped with the pattern number RS3333. This is not a correct stamp for a pearl handled knife by Remington. I can only conclude that the blade was replaced or that the handles were replaced.
CONDITION : The knife reflects minimal use and sharpening.
DAMAGE : None.

BLADE WEAR : Minimal, 5% at most.
SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH : The shield is an official Boy Scout shield but appears to be incorrect in that the Remington catalog shows a round one. There is just a small amount of the etch left on the blade.
SNAP : Excellent on all blades/tools, opening and closing.
ADDITIONAL INFO : This is a very nice old Remington knife that someone has either put a replacement blade into or more likely, has replaced the handles. Since the shield is not according to the one in the catalog, I am guessing the handles are replaced and nicely done. In light of all this I will not price this one at $2500. I will deliver this knife to you by Priority Mail in the USA for $250.

This is a brand new 3 3/4" closed Great Eastern Cutlery model 73 Tidioute marked Scout knife with canvas micarta handle scales. The blades are 1095 carbon steel. The master blade is tang stamped "TIDIOUTE CUTLERY" over "MADE IN U.S.A." on the mark side and "TITUSVILLE" over "IRONWORKS" on the reverse side. The master blade is also etched with Tidioute Cutlery under the pull. The secondary blade is stamped "2007" on the mark side and "GREAT EASTERN" over "CUTLERY" over "TITUSVILLE, PA" on the reverse side. The secondary is etched with Model 73 Scout - 1 of 150.
