I am listing some knives which I recently acquired in a small collection. There are some very average knives and some really nice knives. There are some really unusual knives. Most are not pricey and I will try to offer them reasonably priced. Please keep in mind that Priority Mailing cost is included in each amount. #66 TOTAL NUMBER OF KNIVES : 1
MAKER : L F & C, Landers, Frary & Clark
PATTERN : Pen knife with decorative handles and etch.
CLOSED LENGTH : 3 1/4 inches long.
HANDLES : I am not completely sure how to describe these handles. They are man made and composition might describe them best. There is a moulded image on each side that resembles some sort of flower bloom. There is a crack in the back side handle and I believe it will show in the photos.
TANG STAMPS : The tangs of both blades are stamped L.F.&C. (over) USA. The tang on the back side of the master blade is stamped with a pattern number 62600. CONDITION : The back side handle has a crack, as per above. The master pen blade has a hickey out near the tip of the blade.
DAMAGE : Per above, cracked handle and a hickey on the master blade. AGE : 1912 to 1950

BLADE WEAR : None
SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH : There is no shield and the master pen blade is etched with their logo border and inside the border is UNIVERSAL (over) STAINLESS.
SNAP : Excellent on both blades, opening and closing. ADDITIONAL INFO : This is a very unique knife with long pulls, swedges and unusual handles. HANDLES : Beautiful pearl
TANG STAMPS : The tangs of both blades are stamped STAINLESS (over) CUTLERY CO (over) NY CITY. The backside of the master blade is stamped with a shield and inside the shield is STAINLESS (over) SHIELD.
CONDITION : This is a great knife with the exception that the back handle is cracked. Both the blades have a small nicks.
DAMAGE : Cracked handle and small nicks, per above.
AGE : 1924 to 1940
BLADE WEAR : None.
SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH : There is no shield. The master blade is etched STAINLESS STEEL.
SNAP : Excellent on both blades, opening and closing and with strong half stops.
ADDITIONAL INFO : This is a knife with great potential as a project. A piece of pearl and a little work on the blades and it will be a dandy. I will deliver it to you by Priority Mail in the USA for $35.

CLOSED LENGTH : Almost 3 inches long.
HANDLES : Cracked Ice with no cracks and no chips.
TANG STAMPS : Tang of the slim clip master blade is stamped WESTERN (over) BOULDER (over) COLO USA. The backside of the tang is stamped with the pattern number 441.
CONDITION : The knife reflects use and sharpening.
DAMAGE : None.
AGE : 1951 to 1978.
BLADE WEAR : I estimate 20% to 25% on the master blade and less on the pen blade.
SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH : This knife has neither.
SNAP : Very good on both blades, opening and closing.

CONDITION : Mint, never carried, used or sharpened.
AGE : I am not completely sure but I believe it to be an old knife. Goins Encyclopedia lists the brand but gives no other information.

SNAP : Excellent on all blades, opening and closing.

CLOSED LENGTH : Just a hair over 3 1/4 inches long.
HANDLES : Great Brown Jigged Bone with no cracks and no chips.
TANG STAMPS : Tangs of both blades are stamped with the curved WALLKILL RIVER (over) WORKS (over) WALDEN, NY.
CONDITION : This is a mint knife, never used, carried or sharpened.
AGE : 1920 to 1931
SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH : The shield is a badge or federal type shield. There is no etch.
SNAP : Excellent on both blades, opening and closing and with half stops.
ADDITIONAL INFO : This is a stamping used by New York Knife Co during the 1920 to 1931 time frame. New York Knife has always been known for producing a quality knife.

HANDLES : Delrin with no cracks and no chips.
TANG STAMPS : The tang of the master spear blade is stamped CASE XX (over) USA (over) 1 dot. The reverse tang is stamped with the pattern # 62042,
CONDITION : Never carried, used, or sharpened. There are some spots on this knife so check out the photos. There are also some light scratches on the blades.
AGE : 1979, and it could be 1978 as there is a part of another dot showing.
BLADE ETCH AND SHIELD : There is a standard Case oval shield and no etch.
SNAP: All blades have excellent snap, both opening and closing. The master blade is not as hard on the open as on the close, but not lazy.
