More Details

TOTAL NUMBER OF KNIVES : 1

MAKER : Harrison Brothers & Howson

PATTERN : Swell center half whittler.

CLOSED LENGTH : 4 1/8th inches long.

HANDLES : Perfect and colorful pearl, no cracks and no chips.

TANG STAMPS : The tang of the master spear blade is stamped HARRISON (over) BROTHERS (over) & HOWSON. The tang of the pen blade is stamped SHEFFIELD and if there is a country of origin on the tang, I cannot make it out. Both tangs are hard to read.

CONDITION : The knife reflects use and sharpening. The handles are very nice with no cracks on an old knife.

DAMAGE : None.

AGE : 1847 to 1963

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : England

BLADE WEAR : The long pull master spear has minimal blade loss. The pen blade is down in the area of 20% to 25%.

SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH : This knife has neither shield nor etch.

SNAP : Very good on both blades, opening and closing.

ADDITIONAL INFO : This is a great knife and hard to find an old knife with pearl handles intact. I will deliver it to you in the USA by Priority Mail for $50.

Insurance is optional with the buyer and is recommended.
