Antique HOWARD CUTLERY CO Senator Pattern, Split Backspring Whittler.
HOWARD CUTLERY CO, I believe that this was an old obscure upstate NY brand. 3-1/8” closed, split backspring whittler. Blades are full, used, patina, great snap on all. Tip of file blade is blunted.
Smooth white bone handles, several tight stress lines (see photos).
A RARE brand!!

This is an early bull head jack measuring 3 5/8 inch closed.Both blades have wear and snap open and closing fineBolsters and liners are made of steel.Handles are nice cocobolo woood and are in excellent condition. This is a nice early Connecticut made knife that dates back to the 1800's.

This is an early CONECTICUT made utiliy knife measuring 3 9/16 closed The master blade is badly wornand the punch blade end is broken.The bone is beautiful on this knife No bad cracks or pieces missing two blades are a stamped All blades snap fine.This is a very early knife from a rare company to find.
This is an old scout knife made in Winsted Ct.It was most likely made by EMPIRE KNIFE CO.Master blade broken. all blades snap fine.bone handles are perfect and springs are all good.

RARE Burkinshaw Knife Co 2 bladed pen knife. Horn handles, the knife is 3 3/8" closed. Handles are chip and crack free, both blades walk and talk and have half stops. Knife has been used but a rare find in any condition.

5” closed, swell center. Empire Knife Co. Winsted CT. Locks up nice, smooth blade actions. Ebony handles no cracks or chips. Used, sharpened, blade is full with dark patina. Iron bolsters and liners. Tang stamp is stained over a bit but you can see it up close.
