For this custom SCHRADE USA 15OT "DEER SLAYER". I used Exotic & beautiful African Leopard wood for the handle accented with brass pins with a inlayed brass "OLD TIMER" side shield, Fileworked the blade on top from approx 1" from the tip all the way around to were the handle meet the blade on the bottom. The file work is raised approx. 1mm above the handle scales to frame and protect the handle as well as show the file work. The sheath is a new old stock Schrade USA D.U. 15OT sheath I customized with taned Deer hide taken from the head of 12Point Buck and Brass studs. This is a one of a kind knife, I make make similar knives but I do not duplicate, every one is different and hand crafted. This is a USA Schrade 863 Whittler. It comes complete with its Original Tube. It's a 3 blade knife (Large Clip, Small Clip & Coping) measuring 3 5/8" closed. Its large clip blade is stamped SCHRADE over NY USA on the front and 863 on the back. Its shield is stamped SCHRADE. The Jigged Delrin Handles and Solid Nickel Silver Bolsters are Perfect. Its clip blade is stamped PRESTO over PAT JAN 30-40 over MADE IN USA and its pen is stamped G SCHRADE over KNIFE CO over B'PORT CT. The knife has Woodgrain Celluloid Handles. The Knife is in Near Mint Condition with a few pepper spots on the clip blade and spring. The Blades sit deep with only the pen peeking in the closed position.
