MAKER : Eye Brand by Carl Schlieper
PATTERN : Folding Bowie
CLOSED LENGTH : 8 3/4 inches long when folded and when open, almost 12 1/2 inches.
HANDLES : Stag and there is a pin crack on the front side at the top pin on the barehead end.
TANG STAMPS : The only identification is the two Eye blade etch that is the trade mark for Eye Brand knives.
CONDITION : There are some light sharpening marks and the handle crack, per above. There is no sheath for this knife.
BOX: None
DAMAGE : None, other than per above.
AGE : I believe this knife dates from the mid- to late-1960s up to the mid-1970s.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : Germany
BLADE WEAR : None
SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH : There is no shield and the blade is etched with the 2 Eye etch.

Vintage straightline Carl Schlieper german eye 5 1/2" stockman in jigged bone. The rear handle does have a patch and repaired crack that is hard to see, blades are used and tangstamps are faint, all blades snap well.
