Rare piece of early KA-Bar history this knife has is stamped KA-BAR reg. u.s. pat.off on 1 side and UNION CUTLERY CO. OLEIN N.Y. on the other side. The handle is black stacked leather with brass spacers and mushroom pommel the hilt is stamped on the bottom 572. This piece was made between 1925 & 1930. It is in excellent condition there are a few very minor age blemishes on the blade visable in photos however it is full,clean, bright and unscared. The sheath is not original I cut down a Schrade 165 sheath my dog chewed the top on. It has both the double leather and back leather slits for belt carry options. Very nice KABAR fishing knife with built in hook sharpener. Tang marked KABAR 1128 USA in 3 lines the opposite side of tang is marked STAINLESS, the scaler blade is unmarked. The Becker BK 7 design is based on the MK2 combat knife. The original MK2 knife was partially developed by Camillus Cutlery, which had a hand in the production of Becker knives also. Now manufactured by Ka-Bar, the well-respected Becker BK-7 is back. The blade, 7 3/16", is made with 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel and has a matte black epoxy powder coat. The Blade is .188" thick. The handle is 5 1/2" and features an ergonomic solid black grivory (Swiss made glass reinforced nylon) construction with large screws holding everything together and an over sized lanyard hole. Also included is the BK13: a small fixed blade (made in China) with a 2 1/4" 3Cr13 stainless steel blade, skeletal handle and lanyard hole. A black nylon sheath / hard insert with capacity for both knives and designed for belt carry is also included. This is a Ka-Bar Curly Maple Lockback manufactured for the collectors club in 1991. It is a single Stainless Steel blade Lockback measuring 5-3/8 inches closed. Its blade is stamped KA-BAR on the front and CK91 on the back. The blade is also etched with the 1991 Collectors Club banner. The handle has the 1991 Collectors Club shield and a rear bolster is stamped 776. The knife is in Mint Condition. It has never been used, carried or sharpend.
