ADDITIONAL INFO: The Stockman (model #2060) is from the Easy Rider™ series of Kershaw knives. I don’t have catalogs that go back to 1974 when Kershaw started, but the closest I have been able to come to dating this knife is about 1979. I believe the Easy Rider Series began around 1977 (+/- 1 or 2 years). The only brochure I have found that list the Easy Rider Series list Kershaw’s address as Ridgeway Road in Lake Oswego, Oregon. The next address that I have for Kershaw is on Jean Road in Lake Oswego, Oregon. The Jean Road address appears on their 1980 catalog pages. It was the Jean Road address that I first picked up an order of knives for the cutlery store. That was approximately 1981 or 1982. About 1986 Kai Cutlery purchased Kershaw Knives from Pete Kershaw and at that time Kershaw relocated their office and warehouse to SW. Parkway Ave. in Wilsonville, Oregon. Given that the only Easy Rider brochure I have been able to find has the Ridgeway Road address on it; the logical conclusion is that that brochure was printed prior to the 1980 moved to Jean Road. Based on the fact that that is the only piece of Kershaw literature I have seen that mentions the Stockman #2060, I am left to conclude that the Stockman #2060 was dropped from the Easy Rider series prior to the printing of the 1980 catalogs. That would mean the Stockman #2060 was probably not made after 1978 or 1979.
Although I have been around Kershaw knives from about 1981 through 1992, managing the cutlery store within about a 40 minute drive of their headquarters this is the first model #2060 I have seen. I suspect the #2060 is been discontinued for at least 35 years. This is the first one I have seen.
