Bulldog Brand knives are high quality affordable knives. Most are imports from Germany, but a few are USA manufactured. The brand originated in 1978 through the efforts of a gentleman named Charlie Dorton. He built a great foundation by bringing extremely high quality knives to market from the Friedrich Olbertz factory located in Solingen Germany. The brand's evolution is well documented and is generally segmented into generations. Each generation ushered in marked changes that greatly affect collector value. The brand is currently owned by Parker's Knife Collector's Service and knives are still being produced in the same Olbertz factory.

At 3 1/8", they're pocket friendly, but they're also thick and stout.

A Northwest Knife Company exclusive, only 25 made with the David Yellowhorse custom handle. The knife was made in 1998 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Bulldog brand knives. Five different blade styles, five different blades etches, and five different tang stamps, which have been used over the past 20 years. The handle is made with Turquoise, Bloody Red Jasper, Black Jet, Desert Ironwood, with a nickel silver Grizzly Bear inlay, and hand engraved bolsters. Back of one of the blades is engraved with David Yellowhorse signature, horse logo, and "02/25". There were 4 different handle types, 300 of each, smooth red bone, genuine Pearl, brown jigged bone, and genuine Stag, and now 25 Yellowhorse designs, "The Grizzly". Measures 4 1/8" closed. Beautiful Michael Prater Painted Pony Custom. All five blades have been file worked, as well as the backsprings, and brass liners. Handle is Yellow Spiney, with White mother of Pearl.
