ROBESON SHUREDGE ROCHESTER, "script" stamp, circa 1920's to 1940's. 3-1/2" closed.
This is the scarce "Woodcraft" pattern, so called because it has a special chip carving blade for whittling along with the mater clip blade and the pen blade. Mint examples will have WOODCRAFT etched on the main clip blade (the etching does not remain on this one).
Smooth action and great snap on all blades, no wobble. Blades are full but lightly sharpened, light scratches, patina.

Featuring one great work horse from Tidioute Cutlery. This Tidioute 452112T STL Lumber Jack is 4 1/4" (closed) of unparalleled strength. Just check out the spring that supports the 1095 Carbon Steel Spear Blade---it's huge. In the same photo, check out the width of the backbone of the blade. This Lumber Jack is made for work. But don't sell short the collectible aspect of this knife. It's a handsome work of Great Eastern art that appeals to collectors. It's handled in beautiful Ebony Wood, and those handles are attached to the frame by SIX well spaced brass pins on each side. Nickel silver bolsters and shield and the brass lanyard tube top off this beauty. I've got a good supply of these Lumber Jack's and they are priced with the user and collector in mind. A good value for both. Included with the knife you will receive the storage tube and wax paper.
Thanks for visiting my store.
